JBidWatcher

As any seasoned auction buyer knows, all the action happens in the final seconds.  If you are not sniping, then you are bidding at a disadvantage.  There are two classes of snipe tools: online services and those that run on your PC.  JBidWatcher is of the latter camp so your computer must be running to execute your bids.  If you are like me and your computer is rarely off, then this is not an issue.  Download, run and bid – all within minutes.  Easy to use and configure and there is no need to snipe bid to purchase it since it is freeware!  Download your copy at http://www.jbidwatcher.com

Jing

Jing simplifies creating screen captures and allows you to crop and annotate your screen images. I find myself using it a lot to save photos of bottles that are protected (where you cannot right click and use the SAVE AS command). The basic edition is free; a premium product is available for short money but I never find that I need the advanced features. And, best of all, it is really easy to use.
